Clean & Simple Attempt Deux!

For those of you just joining our little blog party, let me fill you in on this month's challenge.  You can create using any colour you like (last month was Going Green) but you have to keep it clean...and simple! Yep. We are challenging you to create with your Dreamweaver products in a CAS style. This is our way of encouraging you to begin your "Spring Cleaning" a little early, and far more fun than sorting cupboards and washing windows!

And I have to say, that this challenge is FAR more challenging than I ever thought it would be!  But I've looked into this strange idea labeled CAS and I think I get it.  Clean (lose the Distress Inks, Jessie) and Simple (put away the 500 products!) Okay, I'm ready to show you my version of CAS with this month's Fave stencil Waterlily Background LJ 861

So What do you think?  I Machine Embossed Silver Vellum using the Waterlily Background Stencil, and then matted it on Emerald Vellum, and then again on Emerald Cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment "Thinking of You" as I've had a few people recently ask me to create Sympathy cards for them, and I like the idea of just simply saying "You are in my thoughts, during this difficult time" but that's a whole other stamp I Don't have, so this one fit!  I cut it out with my Quickutz Oval Cookie Cutter Die, and added the sheer Emerald ribbon.

I hope the shimmer shows up in the picture, but then again, cards always look better in person so you should try this CLEAN, SIMPLE and EASY technique on your own so you can admire it yourself!  And I know just where you can get this beautiful Stencil, tee hee.

So now you have the opportunity to play along. Create your own Clean and Simple design (preferably with Dreamweaver Stencils' products) and link it to the Dream It Up! blog from your own blog, online gallery, or just sent us an email (lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com) of your creation for us to show off on the blog. At the end of March, we will select two winners to win a set of these stencils each:

For more inspiration, please visit the Dream Team blogs...and leave comments, we love that!

And with that,
Stamp yourself Silly,
Shimmer til you drop
and Stencil like there's no tomorrow!
